Cannondale are the inventors of the BB30 bottom bracket standard. Over the years they have used PressFit30 in their carbon road and mountain bike frames to reduce the weight. Most recently, most of their frames follow the BB30A or PF30A standard, which is exclusive to Cannondale.
BB30A consists of a BB30 bottom bracket shell, with 5mm width added on the non-drive side. Frame dimensions: 42mm inner diameter, 73mm width, asymmetric. BB30A is used on the Synapse and CAAD12 frames.
PressFit30A follows the same principle, but with PF30 dimensions: 46mm inner diameter, 73mm width, asymmetric. PF30A is used on the SuperSix Evo, Slice and FSi
Kogel Bearings offers options to install Shimano, Sram GXP or any 30mm or 24mm diameter crank spindle.
