Kolossos, derived from the Greek word for a statue much larger than its original subject, aptly describes this oversized derailleur cage. Replacing your stock pulleys with a ceramic 12-tooth top pulley and a 19-tooth bottom pulley, built on the stiffest cage available, enhances performance by reducing friction and improving shifting accuracy. This design also emphasizes gravel worthiness and chain retention.
The Kolossos ST model offers the same stiff, oversized cage for crisp, accurate shifting and oversized pulleys to reduce drivetrain friction. It is equipped with high-quality stainless steel bearings, providing excellent durability and smooth performance at a more accessible price point.
Kolossos ST: Performance Without the Premium
Introducing the Kogel Kolossos ST, the perfect balance of performance and value in an oversized derailleur cage. Designed for riders who want the benefits of reduced drivetrain friction and improved chain stability—without the premium price tag—Kolossos ST delivers smooth, efficient shifting in a sleek, refined package. With a CNC-machined aluminum cage for durability, precision-engineered hybrid ceramic bearings, and an optimized design for modern road and gravel bikes, Kolossos ST is built to perform. Whether you're pushing watts on the road or tackling mixed terrain, this is the upgrade that brings efficiency within reach. Ready to ride faster and smoother?
