Since our very first oversize pulley cage launched, I've been proud to offer you the very stiffest option to improve shifting precision over stock derailleurs. Combined with our larger pulley wheels and custom ceramic bearings, the Kogel Kolossos delivered lower friction and longer life, too. Then, we upgraded to Speed Kolossos, making it more aerodynamic and sleeker looking. And we gave you full custom color options with amazing Cerakote finishes. What's next?
When SRAM introduced their latest XPLR 13 and Transmission groups, it created new opportunities. Their offset lower wheel maintained better chainlines for quieter pedaling. And the rebuildable nature of these new derailleurs meant easier user serviceability…a big win in today's fast-fashion world. So, we got to work. And we made them even better.
The new Kolossos Speed for the latest SRAM XPLR 13-speed gravel and Transmission mountain bike derailleurs are our best ever, improving on stock cages in more ways than ever.
Better Chainlines
The new Speed Kolossos is the first and only aftermarket OSP solution that mimics SRAM's offset lower wheel angle. Meaning, we keep the same perfect chainline for reduced lateral friction and a quieter ride throughout the entire gear range.
More Ground Clearance
Despite the much larger pulley wheels, these new Speed Kolossos models are actually shorter than the stock cage, so it has better ground clearance. 5mm for the Transmission and a full 10mm shorter for the XPLR. This means less chance of banging your derailleur hanger on a rock or root, damaging it at a critical moment. These benefits aren't found in any other oversized pulley cage system.

Custom Color Options
As with our other Kolossos, you’ll be able to customize both the cage and the pulley colors, mixing and matching from 144 different Cerakote colors! Pick a different color for inner and outer cages, and upper and lower wheels. You can even choose from a variety of anodized hardware colors for the bolts!
