From a very young age, César Merás discovered his passion, cycling; so he decided to tour Europe by bicycle with panniers. Lapland, Danube River, the Via Claudia Augusta or the Baltic Countries are some of the places where he started his great adventure. A few years ago he received an invitation to participate in a self-sufficient ultra-distance race on a gravel bike and it was at this point that he was able to merge the competition with his love for enjoying new places on his bike. Currently he is a regular who combines this type of gravel events with his other hobby, road cycling.
