Neko Mullaly

Neko “Gnarly Mullaly” is Professional Downhill Racer for Frameworks Racing (Pisgah Forest, North Carolina)

Neko became a professional downhill racer in 2010 and has since been pushing the limits on his capabilities. Neko’s father raced in the NOBRA Nationals in the 90’s and encouraged Neko and his brother Logan to explore mountain biking from an early age.

Neko always loved waking up in the morning to ride his bike in the woods; combined with his positive outlook, discipline, and loving support and encouragement from his mother, Carolyn, Neko quickly discovered he was capable of more than he ever imagined.

Neko placed first at the Pan-American DH Championships and the Costa Rican National Downhill in 2022 and has his sights set on placing top 10 at the MTB World Cup. Neko also holds the title for 2018 and 2011 National Downhill Champion as well as US Open Champion for 2017 and 2018.

Neko is a part of the Frameworks Racing Team and states that the best part of being on this team is in “achieving something greater than yourself as a team.”Neko strives to be proud of his results and help drive the sport to evolve and also to help his peers achieve their goals.

His favorite riding spot is Windrock Tennessee and he enjoys spending time with his family, jamming out to the Rolling Stones, eating sushi, trail building and motocross with his friends during his time off.
